Sangria Ice

Ingredients;

  1. 1 cup cabernet sauvignon
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 1 (16-ounce) package frozen mixed berries
  4. 1 thinly sliced orange,
  5. 2/3 cup fresh orange juice (about 3 oranges)
  6. 1/4 cup sugar
  7. 6 orange slices

Direction;

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Cover and chill 8 hours.
  3. Remove orange; discard.
  4. Press berry mixture through a sieve over a bowl; discard solids.
  5. Combine berry mixture, juice, and sugar in an 8-inch dish,
  6. stirring until sugar dissolves.
  7. Cover and freeze 45 minutes.
  8. Stir berry mixture with a fork every 45 minutes
  9. Remove berry mixture from freezer;
  10. scrape mixture with a fork until fluffy.
  11. Garnish with orange slices.
